Mercury Goes Direct and Looking to the Plutonic Root

We've navigated our way through a tricky solstice period and are now released from some of the most constricting aspects.

We made our way through Sun conjunct Pluto in Capricorn December 26 and Mars in Capricorn square Saturn in Libra December 29, which had some bleakness and bottoming out effects associated. We`re now slowly putting some time and distance between us and the grinding, heavy-hitter aspects that were working away beneath the buoyance of the holidays.

Mercury went direct at 19 Sagittarius early this morning, and the travellers stranded, delayed and diverted by wicked winter storms in the United Kingdom and along the eastern parts of the United States and Canada will be breathing a sigh of relief that the holiday season is coming to a close. A wicked Mercury retro it was, infused powerfully with both Pluto and Mars in Capricorn energy at the time of the retrograde station.

We saw uncharacteristically stormy weather wreak havoc in the United Kingdom and along the eastern side of Canada and the United States. But there was weird weather in many other areas, too, including much cooler than usual temperatures in Florida and much wetter weather in California.

With Pluto involved, there is a deeper and broader root cause for the symptoms of wicked weather and resulting Mercury retro chaos. And with Jupiter about to form a conjunction to Uranus in Pisces on the day of the 13th degree Capricorn New Moon/partial solar eclipse January 4, I think we can look to the disruption of the Gulf Loop Current by the BP oil disaster.

The Loop Current plays a crucial role within the Gulf Stream, the ocean current that travels from the tip of Florida along the eastern coastlines of the United States and Canada. The Gulf Stream then splits in two, with the northern stream moving to northern Europe and the southern stream moving to West Africa.

The Gulf Stream influences the climate of the east coast of North America from Florida to Newfoundland and the west coast of Europe. In particular, this current carries warm water across the Atlantic, making Western Europe warmer than it would otherwise be.

Hmm...

Dr. Gianluigi Zangari, an Italian theoretical physicist, warned this past cardinal t-square-infused summer that the disruption of the Loop Current within the Gulf Stream could cause extreme weather and temperature changes, as well as droughts, floods and resulting crop failures. More fodder for the derivatives schemes.

And here's the Piscean tip: the Loop Current plays a crucial role within the Gulf Stream which plays a crucial role within the interlinked system of ocean currents that regulate global weather patterns. To say that the disruption of the Gulf Loop Current means the disruption of all weather patterns on Earth and, therefore, all life on Earth, is no exaggeration.

Here's where we're being attacked at this tail-end Piscean Era: with all the inter-related aspects of life on this planet. Permeate the whole by attacking individual parts. Ripple-effect shock waves set off by broad-scale events that reach right into personal lives.

Venus is in late Scorpio and will enter Sagittarius January 7, having moved out of retrograde shadow degrees and the Via Combusta at 13 and 15 degrees Scorpio.

Venus will square Neptune-Chiron in late Aquarius while trining Jupiter-Uranus on the day of our Cappie New Moon/solar eclipse (big aspects day), and our gut-level intuitive understanding gets a big workout from the Pisces-to-Aquarius, we're-living-in-some-sort-of-sci-fi-novel backdrop. Have your Scorpionic bullshit detectors at the ready! We're going to have to honour every last twinge of our feelers here - both personally and on the social/global scale. The key is reality-based smart over possibilities-driven hopeful. This far along, every Neptunian/Piscean trick in the book is at the disposal of those who have no problem putting that to use.

There are big almost-post-Piscean patterns here we need to move out of: patterns of belief, hopes, illusions, ideals, wishes that prove to be wounding mirage again and again. Dig down into your wiliest, craftiest, most boo-yah! self and let that motherfucker rock it as we close out 2010 and enter 2011. Peel through the weak-ass ploys and plays of those working the fuzzy wuzzy, pumped up Neptunian trip. Every layer debunked and illusion shattered matters now - on multiple levels.

We need the new track. The truly new one. Oh boy, do we. And that starts by proving ourselves with the Grand Finale Venus in Scorpio aspects coming...right...up.

Lock-step Legislation: Bill S.510 in the United States and Bill C-36 in Canada Are Snuck Through Senate

The Pluto-Ceres in Capricorn interplay in 2010 has coincided with some bold attacks on natural foods and supplements. And to close out the year, two big fake-out spin moves have resulted in top-down pieces of legislation being passed in both Canada and the United States.

Bill S.510, coined the Food Safety Modernization Act, was snuck through last night in the U.S. Senate, the night of the 29 degree Gemini total Lunar Eclipse/mutable t-square, just before today's Winter Solstice.

That's some bad voodoo. And here's more:

Despite word that there would be six more months of debate in the Canadian Senate, Bill C-36, the lateral lock-step legislation called the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act, was passed December 13, 2010, the day of the exact Mercury Rx-Mars-Pluto conjunction at 4 degrees Capricorn.

This leads one to believe that the Harper Conservatives have taken a tip from the other Global Governors and hired themselves an astrologer.

Nah, more than likely just following orders...

Canadian consumers were already well-protected on this front by the Hazardous Product Act, which allowed for fines, jailtime and recalls of products through court channels. But under Bill C-36, Health Canada and its team of "inspectors" can now work outside the court system, targetting citizens and their businesses independently. Health Canada inspectors now have the right to:

- enter private property (at gunpoint with police officer presence) without warrant searching for unlicensed consumer products of all kinds
- seize any property they so desire, including any and all documents
- seize vehicles that have been used to transport products

As Canada is now shifting to globally set guidelines rather than national, Health Canada can also disclose personal and business information to foreign governments without consent.

Under Bill C-36, all returns of products, regardless of the reason for return, must now be reported to Health Canada.

This bill locks powers into federal law for Health Canada to enforce Natural Health Products Regulations (NHPR), federal legislation that came into full effect in January 2010 that brings natural health products under similar licensing restrictions as pharmaceuticals. Natural health products in Canada are now required to go through a lengthy and costly licensing process for a Natural Product Number (NPN). Natural product manufacturers do not have the capital available to them that Big Pharma has, and these new requirements will certainly mean limits in access to natural products. Already, companies have been forced to pull products from shelves, including NOW, a brand I personally use. Currently, there is a large backlog of products, many have been refused an NPN and some suppliers have stopped shipping to Canada due to the red tape.

Bill C-36 locks government and police raids on naturopaths and health food stores, already well underway in Canada over the past 20 years, firmly into federal law.

Hitting at the root, Eldon Dahl, a Calgary, Alberta naturopathic doctor and supplier of supplements to other naturopaths, had his home raided at gunpoint by Health Canada and RCMP officers on January 15, 2009. Dahl and his wife and daughter were held in their living room for 11 hours as Health Canada officials and police officers, who refused to show ID, rummaged through their entire home and business operation. The Dahls' computer hard drives were confiscated. Three hundred thousand dollars worth of naturopathic products - 85% of which were licensed up to the new NPHR standards now being enforced by Health Canada - were seized.

None of Dahl's inventory has been returned. He has been slapped with 50 criminal offenses, as has his wife who has nothing to do with the business. Due to the raid and confiscation, the Dahls have had to sell their home and start from scratch with their business.

And you'd better believe this put a chill through the naturopathic and natural health industry.

The passing of Bill C-36 comes as the U.S. Senate snuck the matching legislation - Bill S.510 - through last night. A Sunday night. A rare total lunar eclipse on the Winter Solstice night - something we have not experienced since 1638 and will not experience again until 2094.

Just as with C-36 in the Canadian Senate, there was a quick reversal with Bill S.510. The bill had first been attached to a humungous spending bill after a technical issue arose with the passing of S.510 in November. The spending bill was considered too cumbersome and time-consuming to read in full (Mercury retro in Capricorn) and was put down in early December. Most thought S.510 was, for the time being, a dead duck. But Sunday night, it arose from the dead as the Moon grew full, was attached to yet another piece of legislation - the Consumer Assistance to Recycle and Save Act - and passed, pending approval from the House.

November 2009 - Mark Tijssen of Ontario, Canada has his house staked out for five days by a conservation officer sitting in a neighbour's treehouse, followed by a police raid and confiscation of his personal butchering equipment. Charged with four offenses under Ontario's "Food and Safety Quality Act" for selling his home-grown and butchered pig meat to a friend

January 1, 2010 - federal Natural Health Products Regulations (NHPR) start to be fully enforced in Canada, including the necessity for every product to have a Natural Product Number (NPN), issued through Health Canada

March 2010 - Home on the Range raw milk co-op in Chilliack, British Columbia is ordered to halt its operations

June 14, 2010 - Marigold Natural Pharmacy in Courtenay, British Columbia is raided at gunpoint by Health Canada and RCMP officers and has $146,000 worth of inventory confiscated

June 30, 2010 - Health Canada officials are involved in a raid at gunpoint of Rawesome Foods, a private food buying store in Venice, California and the confiscation of its products

December 13, 2010 - Bill C-36, the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act, is passed by the Canadian Senate

December 20, 2010 - Bill S.510, the Food Safety Modernization Act, is passed by the United States Senate

Anaretic Gemini Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, and This Post is Probably Already Outdated. It's Just That Lightning-Fast, People.

Our third of five anaretic degree Full Moons is also a total lunar eclipse busting things wide open at 2:13 a.m. CT on December 21, just ahead of the Sun entering Capricorn and Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere at 5:38 p.m. that evening.

The Moon at 29 Gemini opposes the Sun at 29 Sagittarius with Mercury retrograde tightly involved at 26 Sagittarius. That opposition forms a tight mutable t-square formation with Jupiter and Uranus conjunct at 25 and 26 degrees Pisces or a mutable Grand Cross if you include soul mate asteroid Juno at 26 Virgo.

Suffice it to say, this is a lot going on. The mutable signs relate to adjustments, changes, movements, rolling with it. So you can get a feel for the fluidity, especially emotional, required to squeeze the most out of this Full Moon. We're being jostled around and pushed to a high energy point before clicking more solidly into place with our Sun in Capricorn positions conjunct Pallas Athene, the North Node and Pluto, with Mars and Ceres bringing up the rear in the sign of the seagoat.

This Full Moon has a sort of "cleaning out the carburetor" feel to me. Running on high for a short burst of time to clear the old gunk so that we'll be at our best, infused with sparkling fresh faith and inspiration for the sometimes dry, old grind of reaching-for-our-grandest-potential Capricorn within Pluto in Capricorn season. The energetic push up to 29th degree fullness brings things to this emotional high point, albeit a short, chaotic, and bizarrely changeable one under Gemini total lunar eclipse/mutable t-square conditions.

From a previous post on this series of anaretic degree Full Moons:

"On the anaretic degrees, we're distilling the energetic lessons of the entire signs.

At these anaretic Full Moons, the Sun opposite the Moon creates a point of highest pulling tension, a harmonic tightening along the polarity that tunes up the full spectrum of energies and spins off whatever is not necessary moving forward, leaving us with a new mix to play with."

What needs to be said will be said, and what needs to remain wordless wisdom will remain wordless wisdom. Knowing the difference is the Full Moon fulcrum, and here the oppositional tendencies come to 29th degree culmination in Gemini and Sagittarius.

Adding to the challenge, all this will be changing and shifting, crackling with energy in each moment, according to the broadening and shifting of our up-to-the-minute radical spiritual awareness apparent at this Full Moon square Uranus in Pisces. Things are not as they were. The old Piscean constructs, especially the "spirituality" constructs, are losing their charge. In fact, I see this Full Moon as a Grand Finale curtain call for much of the Piscean Age and New Age rhetoric and ideology - one last high before things start to peter out, including the pop 2012 furor, which will be moving forward on fumes from here.

Staying relevant, effective and true with our language and communication, both verbal and non, is the challenge here. With Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius exactly square Uranus in Pisces at the time of this lunation, beliefs and especially structured belief systems are necessarily shifting. The way people communicate their beliefs and connect through them is changing, also. There is a process of sharpening of meaning, shifting language patterns and navigating through staid and stale language constructs and catch phrases within the context of these rapidly changing Pisces-to-Aquarius conditions.

The weakening New Age spiritual hierarchy is playing the same tired memes. You can hear them underlying every conversation and every "new" insight. But, as always, New Age is on the eagle-eyed look-out for fresh energy and converts to envelop into the fold, propping up the pyramid scheme and sustaining itself into Aquarius. Watch for the rebranding underway, the creation of new ensnaring trends, the attempts to cool itself up by co-opting the so-called "darker, edgier" aspects of life on this planet and placing them within their own controlled paradigm.

"This Ain't Your Pluto in Leo's New Age."
"New Age: It's Not Just Love and Light Anymore."
"New Age. For The Discerning Spiritual Fascist."

Watching coddled, privileged, mostly white New Agers trying to wrap themselves around something other than the glazed, Neptunian reinforcement of their own controlled beliefs is good for a laugh, if nothing else.

However, differentiating from New Age beliefs and reinforcing that differentiation will continue to be necessary for anyone who does not desire to be carried along by the stolen, puffed-up energy and momentum of the Love and Light brigade...

Let me tell you. As an astrologer, with so much of the current astrology merged with New Age beliefs and so few aware of the extent of New Age embedding (neither their own nor cultural), this is beyond tricky.

There is a thread available here, stripped of rhetoric and hubris, that we can work to uncover as individuals, making the vital and sustaining connections as human beings living on this planet at this time.

This Gemini Full Moon happens conjunct the South Node at 2 degrees Cancer ahead of the South Node entering Gemini and North Node entering Sagittarius March 3. On some level, our communication and connection in this internet age have reached a peak. The interplay of ideas and information has reached critical mass, and things shift greatly on that front from March until August 2012.

We're getting booted out of some of the emotional and social reliance on this form of connection and turned down the North Node Sagittarian path of direct experiences with the big, bad world, relying on our stores of information, the connections we've made and what we've learned through the interactions as the fires of Sagittarian faith and inspiration propell us forward. This will be a refreshing shift in the long run (barring a total internet crackdown by the Global Governors), but as a Gemini Moon and cyber-astrologer, this energy shift does make me a wee bit uneasy. I'll write more about it in March, but the point of no return is reached at this Full Moon.

Soul mate asteroid Juno at 26 Virgo makes the Full Moon mutable t-square a mutable Grand Cross, and the analyzed and verballized distinctions matter. Saying what you mean and meaning what you say...while things shift and slide all around us.

A sloppy, glossed-over idea of Piscean unity doesn't cut it anymore. Under the more Aquarian overlay, our differences are actually what make us strong and recognizing, honouring and utilizing them is what makes us truly unified. The Virgoan details count in a big way to place us in the positions and within the tribes where we most fully belong.

Juno in Virgo opposes Uranus in Pisces one minute off exactly at the time of the Full Moon eclipse, and this asteroid works to ground the over-the-top Full Moon eclipse vibes, keeping attention turned to what needs to get done with this energy. It's not all chaos and madness and Dionysian celebratory humping in the forest.

The longer-term communications shift indicated by this Gemini Full Moon lunar eclipse square Uranus in Pisces brings the heightened possibility of psychic communication, non-verbal interplay and transmission, and telepathy over long distances among like souls. But the placement of Juno in Virgo, again, shows us that this is not energy to be mucked around with. We're meant to be doing something - usually quite specific somethings - with it. This is actually not a "fly wide open" time with all these squares and oppositions, though many seem to be pumping things up to that point. Boundaries that must be closely kept.

Juno in Virgo brings people and experiences into our lives to help us make the refining and grounding adjustments and effectively work with these cosmic vibes. Juno will make itself known in your life to keep you on track, drawing attention to any areas that need a little tune-up, any rough spots that need smoothing, any neglected details that could trip you up in the long-term. This is the lingering impression of the Saturn in Virgo - Uranus in Pisces opposition cycle. Remember that? How could we forget? These Virgoan tune-ups, coming through the soul mate asteroid, will be especially prevalent coming from contact with other people. Remember: this isn't soul mate as in your one and only true love. It's soul mate as in someone who compells some change, work, adjustment, refinement or improvement in you or your life. These 'soul mate' connections could be irritating as all hell...but they're necessary.

Also colouring this Full Moon eclipse is the fact that Venus is just coming out of its retrograde shadow at 13 degrees Scorpio, finishing with the last degrees of the Via Combusta on December 23. This adds to the celebratory flavour, as Venus is ready to crack into fresh, new territory, integrate the retrograde themes and morph our relationships and relationship styles accordingly.

A Mercury Rx-Pluto-Mars Cosmic Sandwich and the Plutonic Sociological Imagination

Tonight marks the concentrated 10-minute time frame (10:05 to 10:15 p.m. CT) in which Mercury Rx, Pluto and Mars come together at 4 degrees Capricorn, and we are informed on this day about our new strategic paths, freshly carved out step-by-step from the destruction, detritus and debris Pluto has brought since 2008 in Capricorn.

The Moon, Uranus, Jupiter and Black Moon Lilith form another cosmic sandwich today, and our success here lies in deeply understanding the context of the times in which we are living and in allowing our movements to be naturally shaped by the wisdom of our souls, connected to spirit, within such times.

The Sabian symbol for 4 degrees Capricorn is: Indians - Some Rowing a Canoe While Others are Dancing a War Dance.

This symbol indicates the multi-layered preparations underway as we pick our way through the rubble just ahead of the Uranus ingress into Aries and the first degree of the astrological zodiac March 11.

Body (Mars) and mind (Mercury) are infused with understanding on the deepest energetic and cellular levels today about the complex trip we're taking and the sharp change in direction and acceleration up ahead.

At the same time, we're being prepared for further multi-dimensional battle under new Aquarian rules, drawing on the wisdom and guidance of the spirit-guided warrior clan lineages. Under the increasingly Aquarian umbrella, the fight for our freedom - physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual - continues. With Uranus' ingress into Aries, the battle sharpens and takes on a new urgency. We have to keep relaxed vigilance as we battle to stay healthy amidst attacks on our physicality and energetic systems, fighting to stay on our own soul's path rather than having our deepest fears coercively manipulated, forcing our hand and diverting us along less long-term-liberating avenues.

With so much Capricorn involved, we're looking to the long term. And with Pluto involved, it's that 'seven generations' type of long-term. This is the progress we're responsible for at this time.

We paddle our own canoes here, one stroke at a time bringing us closer to the final elimination of one path over another, one paradigm over another, and the crossing of the great stream. Eyes ahead, mind on what you're doing, no looking back - despite the overwhelmingly strong emotional pull of the Cancer South Node. Despite our own emotional propaganda, there were no really good old days. Not for everyone. Those often yearned-for and nostalgized 'good old days' were always propped up on the misery of someone else. The safety and security enjoyed by some was bought with the blood of others.

Astrology is about cycles, especially learning from previous cycles so as not to repeat the worst aspects of the past.

And you can see how this war dance energy is being used by those who desire war on this planet. The lock-step machinations that lead toward yet another depopulating Great War. And this is the beauty of astrology - of having such access to it. We can see the patterns and work our way out of them. We can see the manipulations before they come and prepare for them. We can match each step toward war, death, misery, destruction with a step of our own. This is where we're so effective.

Having the Plutonic sociological imagination does not mean resignation that these cycles are set in stone, destined to repeat - far from it. It's by using this tool that we can consciously work on choosing a different path, refusing to be energetically herded down the dystopian Aquarian track.

When Uranus enters Aries, we are in the beginning stages of a series of seven squares to Pluto in Capricorn (2012-2015). The last time Uranus in Aries squared Pluto (in Cancer) coincided with the rise of the Third Reich and the lead-up to World War II (1932-1934), which left 70 million or so dead.

On one level, this aspect series indicates steps taken toward another Great War by the Global Governing Fourth Reich, setting the tone for the burgeoning astrological Aquarian era. Locked-down control by the merged corpo-governmental militarized police state, energetic warfare, forced transhumanism, maybe even an eye toward intergalactic battling for new territory after this planet is further trashed and biological life attacked on the DNA level.

On another level, it indicates the genius manoeuvres of the human population as it rebels and quests for freedom of self, identity, individuality, humanity. Rock and roll, motherfuckers. These aspects indicate a time when shocking confrontations with and increasing awareness of what is really going on on this planet forces a decision from even the most staunchly consensus individuals. It's a time when people will be forced out of robotic compliance en masse and into a fuller understanding of who they are and what they're doing on this planet at this time. We commit fully to being our soul-sovereign human selves and living accordingly or we become the forced alternative...

Uranus in Aries squares to Pluto in Capricorn (2012 to 2015)

1. June 24, 2012 (Uranus 8 Aries/Pluto Rx 8 Capricorn)
2. September 18, 2012 (Uranus Rx 6 Aries/Pluto (stationing direct) 6 Capricorn)
3. May 20, 2013 (Uranus 11 Aries/Pluto Rx 11 Capricorn)
4. October 31, 2013 (Uranus Rx 9 Aries/Pluto 9 Capricorn)
5. April 21, 2014 (Uranus 13 Aries/Pluto Rx 13 Capricorn)
6. December 15, 2014 (Uranus Rx 12 Aries/Pluto 12 Capricorn)
7. March 16, 2015 (Uranus 15 Aries/Pluto 15 Capricorn)

Uranus in Aries square Pluto in Cancer (1932 to 1934)

1. April 21, 1932 (Uranus 20 Aries/Pluto 20 Cancer)
2. September 2, 1932 (Uranus Rx 22 Aries/Pluto 22 Cancer)
3. March 8, 1933 (Uranus 21 Aries/Pluto Rx 21 Cancer
4. November 4, 1933 (Uranus Rx 24 Aries/Pluto Rx 24 Cancer)
5. January 17, 1934 (Uranus 23 Aries/Pluto Rx 23 Cancer)

Pluto entered Cancer July 9, 1913, retrograding back into Gemini and entering Cancer for its full stay May 26, 1914. World War I and the beginning of the Great Depression coincided with Pluto in Cancer, but Pluto had dipped into Leo at the outbreak of World War II - commonly considered September 1, 1939 when Germany and Slovakia invaded Poland.

Part of me had to wonder if the plane crash deaths of almost the entire government of Poland this past April were somehow symbolic in this way...

Uranus entered Aries March 31, 1927, retrograding back into Pisces and entering Aries for its full stay January 13, 1928.

Pluto had been in Cancer for 15 years prior to the first square from Uranus in Aries in April 1932 at 20 degrees of the signs. But this time around, the squares are getting off to a much quicker start with Uranus and Pluto coming very close to squaring each other right off the bat during the cardinal T-squares in the summer of 2010.

You can see the similarities of the lead-up time to the initial square.

The speculation bubble burst on October 28, 1929 in the United States stock market, leading to the misery of the almost fifteen-year Great Depression. This was two-and-a-half years prior to the first Uranus-Pluto square.

The mortgage-based derivatives bubble burst and the U.S. stock market started to implode in September 2008, just under four years from the time of the first Uranus-Pluto square.

Both crashes created ripple-effect mass unemployment in countries around the world, uncertainty and an increasingly desperate population. Building prime conditions to weaken the resistance of the people, initiate the war and create new employment as military agents of the state.

Hitler's Sturm Abteilung civilian army grew exponentially during the time of the Uranus in Aries-Pluto in Cancer squares. In 1931, the SA had 70,000 members. By 1934 and the end of the square series, it had 4,500,000 members.

The current conditions echo this timeframe with offshoots of the police/surveillance state (whether military, police or security) becoming some of the only options for employment during Pluto in Capricorn. We can expect this pressure to continue during the 2012-2015 squares.

Things were set in motion grand-scale during this past summer. Uranus and Pluto will be in energetic square (within range/orb) during 2011 and 2012 leading up to the first exact square - just in time for hyped-to-death 2012.

But we're in a different scenario this time, and the distinctions matter.

Goebbels has replicated by the thousands, with millions of minions to spread the carefully-crafted official word. We now have thousands of radio and television channels combined with a worldwide web - a mainstream media designed and utilized for diversion and control of the people that also has the ability to reach into minds through carefully-created controlled opposition. The supposed alternative infiltrated by poisoned Plutonic tentacles.

Single figureheads are too dangerous in this energetic climate, so there is not one Hitler figure - there is a global network of them. How very Aquarian of them.

And yet, there is volatility in the ranks as those nearing the top of the pyramid-scheme hierarchies turn on each other.

At the same time, the alternative to this plan has also grown. We are also a network that spans the globe. Real gonzo journalism and citizen media refute the lies and reinforce the knowledge that there is a larger force, a broader intelligence at work here. This broader intelligence is what we have the ability to tap into tonight with the Mercury-Pluto-Mars conjunction, so still yourselves and listen, body and mind, to what these three have to say about what comes next for you.

Exact Mars-Pluto-Mercury Conjunction at 4 Degrees Capricorn

As I type, we've got a line-up in Capricorn of the North Node, Mars, Pluto and Mercury Rx at 2, 3, 4, and 5 degrees of the sign. Tomorrow night between 10:05 and 10:15 p.m. CT, we experience Mercury Rx, Mars and Pluto coming together in a ridiculously potent triple conjunction at 4 Capricorn, just two degrees off our carved-out soul path forward indicated by the North Node. Take note of that 10 minutes in time as we are cosmically awash with understanding and body intuition about how we progress, personally and together, from here.

We've been waiting patiently as intelligence, communication and interaction planet Mercury ground out its retrograde station in Capricorn, and we now gain some very intriguing information and insight as Mercury gains momentum retro and slides back over a conjunction to Pluto, Mars and the North Node.

Mercury has been informed by a sextile to Venus in Scorpio on the day of its station (December 10) that the feminine has a little something to say - strategically, and with purpose. She'll keep it to herself until the right moment presents itself, as the feminine does, but there are some fine points that have been criminally neglected. There is unfinished business from the Venus retrograde and Ceres-Pluto conjunction that must be attended to if we are to make any real progress, rather than recreating the Hel structures of the past. There are touchy areas that need to be touched to bring about the release of the stolen feminine energy still tied up, locked down, languishing - areas uncovered through the diligent efforts of the personal planets transiting through Scorpio, now brought fully into play as Venus moves direct through its retrograde shadow.

All that Capricorn is disposited by Saturn in Libra which, in turn, is disposited by Venus in Scorpio. So it all goes back to our lady, see?

The Sun is in Sagittarius as the bodies come together in Capricorn, and the truth needs to come out. But how far are people willing to dig to get to the real stuff? How many comforting, buffering layers are they willing to come through? Or will they be satisfied with surface scratching?

Venus in Scorpio won't. Take my word for it.

The other feminine body in the zodiac, the Moon, is in late Pisces at the time of the triple conjunction in Capricorn. Uranus and Jupiter are in Pisces, too, sandwiched between the Moon and Black Moon Lilith. The deep, dark, neglected feminine Piscean truth is: we have to get the sea back into the sea goat or the end of the Age of the Fishies and entry into the Age of the Water-Bearer is going to bring one damned unpleasant era on this Earth. Mass spiritual extinction.

Our personal actions and use of words are stripped to the Plutonic bone here, but with good reason. All our energy is needed now for the most effective and empowering pathways.

If we stick to business over emotional habit and allow only the right ingredients into our alchemical mix at the time of this conjunction, personal progress can be fuzed here much more coherently with the broader collective progress we've been aching our whole lives to achieve. The scattered and tattered pieces we've collected from the far reaches of our soulscapes can be brought back into the fold and integrated lovingly, in their own time, strengthening the whole system. We can find the right edges and the right angles, finally, to more consciously (Mercury) fit our personal goals (Mars) like puzzle pieces into the larger framework and broader shifts, thereby finding a new emotional touchstone and security for that beleaguered Cancer South Node.

As the structural outgrowths collectively held in place by brittle and outdated illegitimate power super glue come crashing down, we are zooming through the cracks.

Every body in the zodiac aside from Mercury is moving direct, and we are catching a glimpse of the true potential of these times and of us within them. We're also heading to a short period of time (December 30, 2010 to January 25, 2011) when EVERY body in the zodiac will be moving forward. Though periods of immense pressure and constriction can still be expected, the steps are beginning to be laid out as we move to the first Uranus in Aries March Equinox.

Lucky 13 Sagittarius New Moon as Uranus Stations Direct and the Truth is, It's All Just a Bit Surreal

Uranus is currently stationing direct at 26 Pisces and it's bringing the weird in sometimes overwhelming fits and flashes amidst the stone cold serious grouping in Capricorn (Ceres, Pluto, the North Node and stationing Mercury).

Our December 5 Lucky 13 Sagittarius New Moon (11:36 a.m. CT) is infused with this concentrated Uranus in Pisces energy as Uranus stations direct later that evening (7:50 p.m.). Mars in Sagittarius will be just past a square to Uranus in Pisces (December 3) adding some feistiness to the proceedings.

Emerging soul spaces and rejuvenated inspiration based in direct experience of our own guiding truths, strengthened and clarified at this New Moon as we rapidly transition from Piscean to Aquarian astrological eras.

There are many people who believe they have the truth these wild and woolly days - from New Agers, 9/11 Truthers, and UFO researchers to genetically engineering scientists, politicians, and WikiLeaks. But often, these so-called truth-tellers are wrapped up in the very systems and organizations and ideologies they claim to be attempting to out. What (possibly) started off as true opposition becomes enveloped, assimilated, hooked into the same old end points. Celebrity, cliqueiness and in crowds - and the thirst for recognition within them - start to overshadow the real work.

People realize how difficult it is to stay true, how unpopular the truths no one else wants to touch are - and how unpopular speaking those truths might make them. And they fudge it a bit. They soften their standards for the acceptance and energy of being more palatable to the crowd.

Figurehead truthtellers are put forth as supposed radicals who carefully control the information and oppositional vibes, never coming close to the full root truth.

I recently had an experience with an individual I would consider an establishment truthteller figurehead, after being invited by my roomie to a speech by a man named George Galloway. I hadn't heard of this man and generally avoid these types of things but decided to go with her. It turns out he was on a paid speaking tour across Canada. Of course he was. He's a Scottish MP in the British Parliament currently embroiled in a public pissing match/legal battle with Jason Kenney, the Canadian federal minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, who attempted to have him banned from Canada as a terrorist due to his really quite uncontroversial stance on Palestine and Israel. Basically, he isn't rampantly pro-Zionist as the Harper Conservatives are.

So I sat at the speech for a while listening to him loudly proclaim what I suppose passes for revolutionary thought in Parliaments these days. Most of the crowd was eating it up, clapping at all the right moments. But as I listened to him make his middle-of-the-road points and talk about his accolades and his meetings with Her Majesty the Queen, I thought, if this is what's passing for independent, radical thought these days in the peace movement, we're in trouble.

Why are people still so desperate for an authority figure, a hero? And why are so many people willing to pay to listen to a guy saying things that any woman (or conscious man) knows pretty much from birth?

I closed my eyes, and his loud, emphatic speaking tone started to sound a bit like Hitler's. My head started to ache. My pelvis started to hurt. My feminine energy was protesting that I would sit and subject myself to it.

Needless to say, I had to leave the speech early and regretted parting with my dollars to listen to this man. My roommate did some research later and found out he is anti-abortion and votes that way in British Parliament. Definitely not my cup of tea. But the rapt attention this man was receiving, including a partial standing ovation, was a bit surreal.

It's all a bit surreal, isn't it? The trances, the consensus realities - especially in so-called alternative circles. The establishment has definitely set in in this Pluto in Capricorn Age.

The dispositor of the Sagittarius New Moon is Jupiter in Pisces, which is conjunct Uranus, making the Uranian/Piscean Bizarre-o World flavour even more pronounced.

Think Nazis and NWO-ers dancing the reel with the cast of the early John Waters films to Isabella Rosselini in red lipstick singing a Roy Orbison song.

At this New Moon, we're gathering the Uranus in Pisces flashes of insight as puzzle pieces to guide us through the bizarre and surreal aspects of Pisces-to-Aquarius.

With the Sun and Moon involved, the two luminaries, the truths we're being inspired by at this New Moon are personal ones. The masculine-heavy rhetoric and posturing clear away at the Dark of the Moon. The lunar energy washes over us as we honour the truth that we are, the wisdom that we hold, simply by being, and the direct access we have to it always. The truths we embody just by being who we are and living true to that in these times, with the experiences we've had or understood through our physical and spiritual lineages ringing through every cell. This involves, especially, feminine truth. The truth of the women of this planet. And sure, the truth of the men who hear and feel and know that feminine truth and take responsibility for it. They are few.

This New Moon is a point in time to welcome rejuvenation of the force of optimism in our lives amidst some fairly horrifying circumstances.

The Gulf stream current has been disrupted, more than likely purposefully, by the nightmare going on in the Gulf of Mexico. This basically means all life on this planet has been disrupted. Uranus (disruptor) in Pisces (oceans and energetic flow). There is an old, energy-holder culture whose patterns have been disrupted, destroyed, in the Gulf fishermen and women. A rhythmic, natural flow that helped to regulate life on this planet has been shattered, just as the lives of those people have been shattered with loss of livelihood, loss of way of life and loss of health.

More than that, this is an intentional traumatic break between Piscean and Aquarian eras. A giant symbolic offering to those forces that would like us to head down the dystopian Aquarian track. An artificial jumpstart.

This 13th degree Sagittarrius New Moon is an opening into renewed faith, renewed inspiration and a renewal of our ultimate guiding truth in light of the very tricky times in which we find ourselves living. And in light of our awareness of all those thirteenth witch realities that are still so obscured and denied by the majority. This New Moon portal opens new emotional territory for us along these lines that sustains us going forward from this point.

Sagittarius is often associated with things like university education, philosophy, and religion, but I always found those associations too patriarchal to be the whole story for a sign as connected to our wildness and freedom as Sagittarius. Sagittarius requires intellectual freedom and room to roam, and really, higher education, philosophy and religious scholarship can be trappings. Historically, these things, along with another Sagittarian association, long-distance travel, have been accessible only by people of a certain financial and social privilege and mostly by white men within that privilege.

Sagittarius is a sign related to direct experiences with life that bring us closer to truth, so how can Sagittarius be tied up with these things when every individual did not and does not have access to them? To me, they can be a means to an end, but they are not the crux of the sign - free thinkers don't need ideology or university degrees, although exposure to those things can definitely be beneficial.

The symbol for Sagittarius is the centaur - half human, half horse - and I think the real talent of Sagittarius energy is its development of inherent knowledge of the natural way of things - how things would go down and should go down if we were all really free to live in attunement with the natural world around us.

Although the centaur is often considered a masculine symbol, centaurs are also female, and I think the female aspect of the symbol is part of what emerges at this New Moon.

After Uranus goes direct, every planet in our zodiac will be moving direct. We're moving forward quite rapidly from this New Moon to Spring Equinox and Uranus in Aries. At that point, Uranus will not be back to Pisces for 76 years.

All this forward planetary motion will help to offset the hardcore Mercury retrograde we'll soon be experiencing (December 10-30). Mercury will be the only planet moving retrograde until January 26 when Saturn turns retro at 17 degrees Libra.

So we're on our way at the point of the Sagittarius New Moon to one of the most all-encompassing birth point equinoxes we've seen in quite some time.

This is why the strengthening of our personal truth, the clarifying of our personal wisdom and the rejuvenation of our faith, our spirit and our optimism is so important at this New Moon.

And if you have to walk out of the speech early because it just isn't hitting you as legit, by all means...

The Moon enters Sagittarius December 4 at 11:50 a.m. CT. The New Moon is December 5 at 11:36 a.m. Uranus goes direct December 5 at 7:50 p.m.
