The Final Eclipse of Our Summer 2011 Triple Eclipse Season: Cancer New Moon Solar Eclipse Within Cardinal Grand Cross Formation July 1

This is some Solar Return chart for good old Kanata.

Strap on your party hats. Hold onto your beer coolers. This birthday celebration is going to be one for the astrological record books.

The Cancer New Moon within Cardinal Grand Cross formation happens in the wee hours Friday morning (3:54 a.m. Central Daylight Time). This is Canada Day - Canada's officially recognized birthday - and the New Moon eclipse falls exactly conjunct the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Canada's confederation chart.

The version of Canada that came into existence that day in 1867 was only one version - the corporate, British-ruled one - but that seems to be the version that wreaks most of the havoc. At the same time as our debt-ridden neighbour to the South has its economic power checked and ultimately usurped (this eclipse falls just three degrees off a conjunction to the U.S. Cancer Sun and a few degrees from its Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer), this New Moon eclipse pushes that version of Canada into new prominence and into deeper roles on the world stage.

Coincidentally (not), British royal newlyweds Wills and Kate have chosen this weekend to make a stop in the nation's capital, Ottawa, for the first time in almost 15 years. Breathless subjects abound as this historic Canada Day New Moon eclipse ushers in a new strategic importance and image on the world stage for this country under a new generation of British control. A symbolic changing of the guard along the familial lines (Cancer) under this potent Dark of the Moon/New Moon energy.

There is also a tie-in with the 'far North' with this eclipse, as it will be visible only in a portion of the Antarctic Ocean, and we can expect intensified jockeying for position and control over the water and territory in Canada's North as an offshoot theme. This includes offshore oil drilling. Watch for various interests attempting to plant their flags, regardless of the interests of the people who already live there.

What follows is a re-post of my article from May 8 on the New Moon eclipse at 9 degrees Cancer and some of what it means for this country: Canada Day Cardinal Grand Cross Eclipse: Well, Golly Gee Whiz. Look Who's Fuelling the Global Nuclear Industry

The July 1 New Moon eclipse in Cancer amidst the Cardinal Grand Cross happens on Canada's birthday, and this nation is poised to take on new position and influence within the broader global agenda.

Uber Global Governor Stephen Harper is at the helm for the next four years with a brand, spanking new majority neo-conservative government (won with only 39% of the popular vote), and this global position is going to involve a whole lot of war activity. We see an aspect of this with the installation of Canadian General Charles Bouchard as head of the illegal NATO campaign against Libya. But that, friends, is just the tip of the depleted uranium-tipped iceberg.

Canada's benign, peacekeeper image, so strategically useful on the world stage, is in the process of being stripped bit-by-bit by a Pluto in Capricorn opposition to its Cancer Sun. Squared by transiting Uranus in Aries, the shocking extent of Canada's role within the global war machine emerges as the facade is stripped. The fundamental understanding of Canada's identity on the world stage - past, present and future - shifts rapidly and repeatedly over the next four years.

Warning: You're About to Read a Plutonic Punk Astrologer. Proceed at Your Own Discretion.

I'm always surprised when people are surprised that I'm fairly Plutonically hardcore (and so is this blog). It seems evident to me, but with all the Neptunian projection that goes on on the interweb, a disclaimer under the Cardinal Grand Cross might be a good way to get it out of the way.

As is the case with most Plutonics/Scorpionics, I don't put up with any crap, and when people try to feed me crap (yes, I see them doing it, and yes, I know it's crap), I refuse it and dump it back in their laps. This generally leaves people miffed and/or stunned, but their crap is not my responsibility.

Some would call me bitchy. I prefer witchy.

That said, Plutonic/Scorpionic types are generally deeply intuitive and accepting of extremes, able to hold the energy of people in various emotional and psychological states - usually because they have experienced some variation of those states themselves. They don't shy away from the more difficult aspects of life, including death.

If you're dealing with a difficult situation (or a difficult life, period), if your life has just imploded, if you have a major case of the transformational yucks, or if you are just royally and righteously pissed off for some reason, someone with a good handle on this energy is the person you would want in your corner. You can tell them what's really going on for you - as long as it's honest and coming from your own experience - and they can not only deal but work with it intricately to help extricate you from the oppressiveness of it, all while empowering you and keeping you out of co-dependency.

It should be known that Plutonics don't let up easily. A dog with a bone. We're pretty close to relentless. We have to be. We're here to expose power dynamics that have been kept buried for millenia as well as the injurious, unjust, and deadly consequences of those buried power dynamics.

We're here to figure out what's killing us so we can expose it and stop it. We're here to reach critical mass, to hit the marks that catalyze real improvement, real change, while providing such unerring, unfaltering evidence that it breaks through the mass denial that has been crystallized into insulating, deadened shrouds.

It's no easy task.

We're working with issues that people will do everything in their power to deny. People will kill (and do) to keep this stuff covered up.

Most would rather deal with a slow, unexamined, day-to-day poisoning that does not require anything of them than be faced with the raw truth of the situation - something they would have to deal with.

Plutonics wouldn't, though. They can't. So they have to dig it out, and they're here to get all of it. Nothing half-assed will do. Any tentacle left behind will attach and re-grow.

Plutonic people can follow a thread for months or years through thorny bramble bushes, over barbed wire, through mucky gutters, past armed guards, finally reaching the root and clearing away the detritus around it. In a lot of cases, as soon as they get it cleared, along comes a boot to kick mountains of earth back over it. Then the boot plants itself in their faces.

But in other cases, not. In other cases, they find the spaces to move through and bring it up to the light of day. This is happening more and more. It's getting easier.

I'm not a fearmonger. I'm also not "negative," "dark," "pessimistic," or any of the other words used to discredit my point-of-view.

As I've said before, I don't see the world through the New Age light/dark, positive/negative filter. I believe that paradigm is an artificial one set up to keep people from their own authentic experience while denying the authentic experience of others - where the power is.

Incidentally, the denigration and demonization of "the dark" has its root in black/white racism and Aryan supremacy - something the New Age is intrinsically connected to.

From Howard Zinn's book A People's History of the United States:

"The colour black was considered distasteful in England. The Oxford English Dictionary defined it as: "Deeply stained with dirt; soiled, dirty, foul. Having dark or deadly purposes, malignant; pertaining to or involving death, deadly; baneful, disastrous, sinister. Foul, iniquitous, atrocious, horribly wicked. Indicating disgrace, censure, liability to punishment, etc."

The colour white, on the other hand, was often used, especially in poetry, to mean beauty, purity, chasteness, what's good and right."

(Black is my favourite colour.)

I'm well aware that the power and spiritual energy of righteous people is stronger than the nasty deeds and tactics being used by the criminally insane/inhumane who call themselves our leaders. That has never been in question.

But I also know the ways in which people's most potent energy and awareness is being diverted, manipulated, and used for ends that are not in their best interests.

I know fascism when I see/feel it. You can dress it up, Photoshop it, call it enlightened - it's still fascism.

So I strip the layers, bit-by-bit, as people kick and scream and fight to hold on, to stay comfortably blanketed in them.

What a Plutonic person knows is that in order for things to change this stuff has to be brought up and fully integrated into collective awareness. People have to be living as if it's real, as if it affects them, and as if the wrongs being brought down are being brought down on them - because this is the case. Decisions have to be made, courses have to be changed, using this awareness, so we keep uncovering and providing it. We keep finding the cracks to widen.

And I guess knowing it can make people feel helpless and hopeless because we're dealing with issues that don't fit into the problem-reaction-solution model - another artificial construct. There are no easy, quick-fix answers. It's almost impossibly complex, complicated, tangled.

But working with this bottom-line reality is what I find meaningful. It's what I find exciting and interesting. Sometimes it's even fun. And it's what makes me a good astrologer.

The soft, sleepy Neptunian clouds are maybe pretty to look at, but I do beauty, not pretty.

I know what has been brought down on the people on this planet, and I know what is still being brought down. The injustice of their injuries and deaths burns in me because it's my own. This is not the ancient past. We are not "ascending" out of it. We do not simply "transcend" what has gone on and what is currently going on. The slaughters and poisonings were brought down 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 40 years ago, a century or two. It's the blink of an eye. It's yesterday. It's just the other side of the Neptunian veil dropped over the eyes of the willing. It's a single step outside the Aquarian virtual realities holding rapt attention.

I know the people who have been hurt because they are me. These are the people whose hearts are with mine. What has been brought down on them has been brought down on me...on us. That's real Pisces - not the separation and transcendence and lovey lighty, awakey ascendy glossing over that's being preached and sold these days.

All this smoulders and burns until it is rectified. And until it is out in the open, understood, felt, loved, and dealt with en masse, so do I. So does anyone who feels it as their own. The Plutonics.

At this point, holding the awareness of what has gone on and what is going on is doing something. Making changes and decisions in your own life based on it is doing something. Most people are not doing so. It flits into their minds for a minute or two, maybe, and then it's onto something else.

So for all the Plutonic consciousness comrades out there:

Don't doubt yourself.
Don't ever let them reframe your experience into something more palatable and comfortable for them.
What you're doing, reaching the points of authenticity and honesty that you are reaching, is highly effective, and that's why it's such a threat to those who wish to maintain establishment status quo as you go.

Triple Eclipse Seasons Past, Present, Future

We're about to experience the third in a series of three eclipses, a New Moon solar eclipse at 9 degrees Cancer July 1. From a previous post:

"Eclipses usually produce a between-spaces, unglued energy, resulting in big emotional back-drop changes and sometimes involving shattering events. The timing of global socio-political events is often tied to these points. Eclipses happen every six or so months and are basically New and Full Moons that involve a more exact alignment than usual of the Sun, Earth and Moon and are considered more potent than standard New and Full Moons because of it."

A triple eclipse season happens when that alignment stays extra precise for three eclipses in a row instead of two - as we are experiencing now. June 1 marked a New Moon solar eclipse in Gemini, June 15 marked the Full Moon lunar eclipse in Sagittarius, and we are about to experience the New Moon Cancer eclipse within Cardinal Grand Cross formation on July 1. That's a big one.

The last triple eclipse season we experienced was in July/August 2009 and the next one will be April/May 2013. A triple eclipse is not highly rare, but we can go quite a stretch without having one. We can also have two sets in one year (1951, 1935, 1933, 1915). For all the uber astro geeks out there like moi, here are the dates, signs and degrees of other triple eclipses past, present and future:

The Sun in Cancer Triggers Another Wave of Cardinal Grand Cross Action: Dramz, Dramz and More Dramz

As of the solstice June 21, the Sun in Cancer has entered the Cardinal Grand Cross fray and triggers a new wave of intensity, tension and movement - both inspiring and potentially anxiety-inducing - on the heels of Mercury.

The Sun will square Uranus in Aries June 26, oppose Pluto Rx in Capricorn June 28 and square Saturn in Libra July 2, just after the Cancer New Moon eclipse July 1. Potent stuff. Everything I said in this post as far as navigation of this configuration still goes: Mercury Enters Cancer and Triggers the First Wave of the Cardinal Grand Cross

The only real differences are, we're consciously within this configuration now, and egos will be getting involved (and potentially mashed). These are, at times, incendiary aspects triggering lightning-flash tempers (Uranus in Aries) that can go to extremes.

(Just try plagiarizing and New Age-ifying one of my articles if you don't believe me. Heh.)

Just as soon as the Sun heads out of range of the Cardinal Grand Cross configuration, Venus enters Cancer July 4, triggering the next wave of blistering intensity. Venus in Cancer squares Uranus in Aries July 7, opposes Pluto Rx in Capricorn July 8, and squares Saturn in Libra July 13. Our relations with other people (and our money) enter the mix strongly here.

We then have a little reprieve for the last two weeks of July as Venus in Cancer moves out of orb of the Grand Cross until Mars enters Cancer August 3, drawing things to a state of tension on all fronts again. Mars in Cancer will square Uranus Rx in Aries August 9, oppose Pluto in Capricorn August 11 and square Saturn in Libra August 25, but things will have loosened considerably by the end of August.

By August 25 and the final angsty aspect (Mars square Saturn), the Cardinal Grand Cross Summer of 2011 is drawing to a close, and we can start to gain some perspective on what movements and decisions it spurred and what directions we find ourselves going in coming out of it. Uranus in Aries stations retrograde July 9, just a little over one degree off an exact square to Pluto in Capricorn. These two are in a long-term square formation with seven exact squares going on between June 2012 and March 2015. The themes and new directions kicked up this summer, initially spurred in the summer of 2010, will be with us for a good long while.

Cardinal Grand Cross points of intensification:

 - June 18 - 22 as Mercury in Cancer triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross

- June 25 - July 2 as Sun in Cancer triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross

- July 1 - Cancer New Moon partial solar eclipse at 9 degrees Cancer within Cardinal Grand Cross formation

- July 6 - 13 as Venus in Cancer triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross

- August 8 - 25 as Mars in Cancer triggers the Cardinal Grand Cross

A Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice and Triple Eclipse Season: Here We Go Again...and Again

Since this post has proven so (unfortunately) popular, I thought I might as well run it again.

This is from April 22, 2011:

A Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice and Triple Eclipse Season: Here We Go Again

- Gemini New Moon: June 1, 2011 at 4:03 p.m. Central, partial solar eclipse at 11 degrees

- Sagittarius Full Moon: June 15, 2011 at 3:14 p.m., total lunar eclipse at 24 degrees

- Cancer New Moon: July 1, 2011 at 3:54 a.m., partial solar eclipse at 9 degrees

Cardinal Grand Cross Summer 2011

We're heading into very similar astro conditions as last spring/summer with a Cardinal Grand Cross forming by the June 21 Summer Solstice and the entry of the Sun into Cancer. It feels like deja vu. Or rather it feels as if we never left the conditions of the Summer of 2010.

Ontario, Canada was turned into a "you aren't in Canada right now" official police state as it hosted the G8 and G20 meetings last summer for the initial ingress of Uranus into Aries. The tone and agenda were set at that time for the series of Uranus in Aries - Pluto in Capricorn squares running through 2015.

Currently, we have widespread flooding in the Canadian prairie provinces, just like last spring. Roads are closed and washed out. Homes are flooded. I don't remember my home area ever flooding, and now it has been under water two years in a row. Many farmers were unable to seed crops last year due to excessive moisture, and the same problem two years in a row is devastating. Many farmers who were able to plant last year saw their crops drowned out later.

In addition to the obvious hit to food production and farmers' incomes, there were many offshoot problems, including honeybees starving to death because there were no flowers to sustain themselves with. Honeybees starving to death in addition to the mass deaths due to colony collapse disorder. Very, very unpleasant. A harbinger.

Last year on April 20, the Deepwater Horizon exploded, leading to the ongoing nightmare of oil, Corexit and synthetic oil-eating micro-organims that has laid waste to the ecosystem of the Gulf of Mexico and caused tens of thousands (more?) of people to become sick. Some are dead. People are dying of bacterial infections down there or just dropping dead with no satisfactory cause. Many have flesh-dissolving rashes. Respiratory problems. Pain. Nausea. Diarrhea. Tremors. Exhaustion. Their organs are compromised. Cleanup workers are going blind from exposure to the toxins. Three-year-old children have chemical toxicity and kidney stones. People have been poisoned and infiltrated with organisms the human body has never experienced before. Peoples lives, livelihoods, ways of life have been wiped out.

Florida Oil Spill Law remains the best site for ongoing coverage of the Gulf.

But the world media has moved on.

Time has become compressed as we're psychologically and physically rocked by multi-layered global crisis events being set off like dominoes. Does it really feel as if an entire year has passed since the Gulf disaster? As the fabric of our energetic existence on this planet is screwed with by those who erroneously believe they hold dominion over God, things have gotten very, very bizarre.

This April, we have another (in my mind pre-planned) End Times scenario going on with the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan. The earthquake/tsunami/nuclear crises were triggered just as Uranus slid out of Pisces and into Aries, moving into cardinal square formation with Pluto in Capricorn. Uranium square plutonium.

The latest news I've seen on timeline indicates a best case scenario of nine months until they can contain the radioactive emissions [Editor's Note: hahahahahahaha!]. Food, milk and water are now contaminated with radioactivity. It's hard to say how far it will reach, but my guess is, after nine months or more of continued spewing radioactivity, there won't be many areas on this globe completely spared. The Northern hemisphere will be widely affected, at the very least.

We can expect the Summer of 2011 to be a continuation on the theme - another tension-filled and unpredictable summer with many things coming unglued both personally and on the world stage. The mind-boggling shitstorms we're dealing with on this planet continue to sink in at the same time as new ones are unleashed. The ballgame continues to shift.

The cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) relate to the points in the year when the seasons change. We're in the midst of a period of time (2010-2015 most intensively) when all four seasons change at once - and then again, and again, and again. This hasn't really let up from last summer's cardinal action, and it increases stress levels.

The next steps of the global agenda are unfolding, and people are striving to find survival territory - both physical and soul-level - in their own lives. As upheaval-weary as the human population is at this point, we've only just begun.

New directions are being forced on multiple fronts with new community leaders coming to the forefront out of sheer necessity as the global agenda steamrolls ahead. Mercury will enter Cancer June 16 and kick off a two-month Cardinal Grand Cross. This is two oppositions forming four squares among the initiatory, leadership-oriented cardinal signs. It is kept strong as Mercury, the Sun, Venus and then Mars in Cancer trigger the Cardinal Grand Cross configuration into late August opposite Pluto in Capricorn with Uranus in Aries opposite Saturn in Libra. Saturn in Libra stations direct June 12 at 10 degrees.

Squares (90 degrees) and oppositions (180 degrees) are considered challenging aspects requiring a great deal of energy, focus and dedication to successfully navigate. In the cardinal signs, these aspects are forcing us to make our moves under tense and pressure-filled conditions.

Let's be clear: we're taking the directions that are being spurred and stepping into newly opened leadership positions with humanity under various levels of duress. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge this fact is not fully aware of the situation on this planet. This summer, things are even tighter than last. There is even less room for error or for denial.

Last summer, the configuration was actually a cardinal t-square with the fourth leg of Saturn in late Virgo making it an energetic Grand Cross. It was a Grand Cross by orb (degree), but it was not a Cardinal Grand Cross because Saturn was in a mutable sign. This summer, Saturn's in Libra, and we've got the full-on real deal.

In addition, Uranus will be highly potent, pulling into a retrograde station July 9 at 4 degrees Aries. As it stations, Uranus will be within a degree of its first exact square to Pluto in Capricorn at 5 degrees Capricorn within the Cardinal Grand Cross formation. This is some lightning-hot intensity ahead of the first exact Uranus-Pluto square June 23, 2012.

Next spring/summer, Saturn will be in late Libra, out of orb of the Cardinal Grand Cross. If people were able to resist or deny the grand-scale movements and global upheaval initiated (and forced) during the cardinal t-square summer of 2010, that will change this summer, the Cardinal Grand Cross summer of 2011.

Sagittarius North Node: Our Real History Isn't in the History Books

With the North Node transiting Sagittarius, there will be renewed optimism and expansion in our lives betwixt and between the horror. It's when we're pushed to our breaking points and beyond that the power of our inherent wisdom, passed along through generations enduring historical horror after historical horror, proves its real mettle.

Here, we draw strength from the real history on this planet - our history, the people's history. The grace and wisdom we've gleaned through our cultural heritage moves through us, lives in us, guiding us and connecting us across cultural lines, hand-to-hand, heart-to-heart. This is the truth of the human condition on this planet - for those who know and live it.

The versions of truth being portrayed on this planet - even the supposed alternative versions - are not even close to the real story. The magic we hold has never been captured by their history books. What we know could never be contained there. What the history-keepers (predominantly men) of the world think matters is not what I think matters. My version of an important historical event or trend, what's important to me personally, wouldn't be big or sexy or monied or deadly enough to enter their record books. There are those who think they have the story all wrapped up. We know differently. The women of the world have the missing half of the puzzle inside them.

As Jupiter enters Taurus June 4 and becomes the dispositor of the North Node, we draw on the wisdom of simplicity, goodness in basics, groundedness, reserve, and one of the most important aspects of humanity's continuation on Planet Earth - endurance. Like the bull, we persevere. We dig in. And we really don't get too excited about much of anything - even a two-month Cardinal Grand Cross within triple eclipse season.

Triple Eclipse Season

The Cardinal Grand Cross at the northern hemisphere's Summer Solstice this June is sandwiched in a triple eclipse season, which includes a total lunar eclipse at 24 degrees Sagittarius conjunct the North Node. We're not going to be able to hold standard positions in the same old fort this summer. Everything is on the move.

The cardinal points are triggered all at once, and there's no damming ourselves up against the force of what needs to move. Things are not as they were, and we come to understand more fully what that means.

Eclipses usually produce a between-spaces, unglued energy, resulting in big emotional back-drop changes and sometimes involving shattering events. The timing of global socio-political events is often tied to these points.

Eclipses happen every six or so months and are basically New and Full Moons that involve a more exact alignment than usual of the Sun, Earth and Moon and are considered more potent than standard New and Full Moons because of it. There are usually two - a Full Moon eclipse and a New Moon eclipse - though three is not all that rare. The last triple eclipse season we had was July/August 2009. The next one will be April/May 2013 and then July/August 2018.

From June 21, 2009: Two New Moons in Cancer and Eclipse Season, All Wrapped Up in a Plutonic Bow

This summer we have three eclipses (Gemini New Moon, Sagittarius Full Moon, Cancer New Moon) in combination with the two-month Cardinal Grand Cross, shaking our foundations and spurring movement that much more. The Gemini New Moon partial solar eclipse June 1 happens trine stationing Saturn in Libra.

With the South Node also in Gemini, the era of much too much information, constant contact, milli-second attention spans and instantaneous, multi-front communication is coming to a close. Though now a part of many lives to some degree, social networking has reached its peak. The fevered pitch has broken, and the din dulls now to a manageable hum.

Society starts to wean itself from its constant connection addiction, moving into the Sagittarius North Node of direct experience in the world, real, meaningful conversation, and the type of guiding wisdom and intuition that doesn't really have to say a word.

We started into electromagnetic detox and a detox of the mental environment as the North Node entered Sagittarius March 3. This New Moon eclipse influenced by the South Node steps it up a few notches, moving us out of the social backdrop where people, en masse, are constantly, ridiculously glued to internet/cable/cell/Blackberry/Facebook/Twitter/iPod, etc. The high adrenalin communication junkie vibe becomes passe. The collection of as many friends and feeds and sites and followers and perspectives as is humanly possible goes on the wane.

With a trine to Saturn in Libra, the communication channels we do receive necessarily become streamlined - quality over quantity. We'll be looking for more substantial information and connection over entertaining fluff. More serious, adult fare than the perpetually high school-ish chitter chatter that has become omnipresent over the last decade. The stylish, stylish yet unsatisfyingly superficial perspectives being churned out and sold on internet, in magazines and on television will no longer be cutting the mustard.

It will become harder to propagandize and put one over on an increasingly media and politics-savvy public with the North Node carving out a track in Sagittarius. The same old ploys and diversions no longer work - though there are some big blind spots and pitfalls associated. I've been writing about this theme for a while, but things should shift dramatically after this eclipse.

The Full Moon total lunar eclipse June 15 happens at 24 degrees Sagittarius conjunct the Sagittarius North Node. This is another strongly symbolic time for the unfolding of current overseas war agendas. Following the guidance of our inherent wisdom, especially the old school wisdom of female kin, keeps us on track during a time when, with the Sun conjunct Mercury in Gemini conjunct the South Node, the propaganda will be flying fast and furious, spurring the next chapter of "war on foreign terrorists." We have to listen beyond the words to hear the truth. Expect directional and philosophical shifts both personally and globally as the grand-scale global power shift and shuffling of the cast of characters continues.

The New Moon partial solar eclipse July 1 at 9 degrees Cancer happens just one degree off the "Haiti Earthquake" Full Moon partial lunar eclipse (10 degrees Cancer) on December 31, 2009. This is one of those prime symbolic times, so seismic activity would not be a surprise. Don't blame Mother Nature if it should occur.

The New Moon Cancer eclipse happens on Cancer Sun nation Canada's birthday - July 1, and we can expect this nation to rise to new prominence in the furthering of the current global agenda. Its merger with the Cancer Sun nation to the south is a done deal, and it is acting as an arm of the U.S. miltary in Afghanistan and Libya. This includes the escalation of Canada's role in the attacks against Libya with Canadian General Charles Bouchard being appointed head of the NATO campaign. Four hundred thirty five Canadian personnel are currently involved. Canada still has a sort of benign, "peacekeeper" image on the world stage, but my guess is that will hold out about as long as Obama's Hope Train did.

The Cancer New Moon eclipse happens three days prior to the birthday of the Cancer Sun nation to the south (Independence Day), and this is a nation whose fundamental understanding of itself is in the process of shattering. The United States' ego (Sun) has taken multiple hits - though it's still running on bravado in a lot of cases. Like those CEOs who saw that the jig was up but kept flying around making bad deals on the private jet. A new global role for the United States continues to emerge as the financial string-pullers shuffle the deck. The U.S. economy is still being artificially propped up. It's running on fumes, postponing the full brunt of the 2008 orchestrated economic collapse that began as Pluto entered Capricorn.

The Summer of 2010 also involved eclipses along the Cancer/Capricorn polarity - the third of three sets of eclipses on that polarity.

Mars in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces and Willow is Plagiarized by a New Age Ascension Promoter Continued

So I originally posted that the woman from Ascension for All was gracious about the plagiarism situation.

Scratch that. She was New Age about the situation.

She originally seemed concerned about the plagiarism and unauthorized use of my solstice article and said she would remedy the situation. But as the e-mails went on, it became clear she was not willing to admit that this was, in fact, a case of plagiarism (ie. that it was wrong to butcher my article without my consent and then send it out to a mass mailing list of people under Tyberonn's name).

She said she was "not aware of the newsletter practise at Tyberonn's site." The lack of interest in what the policies actually are from a woman who republishes from that newsletter is telling.

She used the usual passive aggressive New Age tactics involving avoidance and subtle digs covered in glossy "love and light-y" words.

She pointed out to me that, according to her guides, there was no such thing as original thought, anyway (ie. so since this means my article was not original, no biggie) and that it all comes from the "non-physical" to be shared freely amongst lobotomized New Agers like her (yeah, my term there, not hers).

I pointed out to her that no astrology chart is exactly like any other astrology chart in history and that it most certainly is my original work.

She then told me that my information was "clearly significant" at this time and told me she wanted to help me "get the word out."

Yeah. It really is significant. That's why you're trying to get me on board, you see. I don't need you. You need me and people like me who are doing something real and relevant, unlike you and your crew who are firmly entrenched in same-old, same-old New Age dogma handed down through the hierarchy since the 1800s.

As I've written before, the New Age pyramid scheme supports and furthers itself using stolen energy. It's running on fumes these days at tail-end Pisces. The ideology is staler than stale, and so that the mass followers don't get wise, it's willing to fold in energy from anyone who has some edge, some originality, or some legitimacy, including from people who oppose it to the core.

As is always the case, stating full-on clearly to both the woman from Ascension for All and the woman from Tyberonn's site: "I am a critic of New Age and ascension ideology. I oppose what you are doing and saying and should not be involved in any way, shape, or form" had no effect. They don't hear anything they don't want to hear.

Why would I want New Age people, who represent something that insults me and disgusts me to the core, using my words to prop up their hierarchical ascension paradigm?

Anyone? Anyone?

No, I didn't think so.

The woman from Tyberonn's crew who pilfered the article in the first place also did not take responsibility. She glossed over the whole situation, claiming she combined information from a number of sources and merely forgot to credit me. (When she did send out a correction, she credited Willow's Astrology, which is not the name of my blog.)

This is not simply a situation where someone lifted some of my article and forgot to credit me. This is a case where she re-wrote large chunks of the article, added the New Age spin (either herself or from other sources that were not credited), and then sent it out as a newsletter, crediting Tyberonn as the author.

You have to ask: why is she writing a newsletter supposedly from this New Age channel Tyberonn using pilfered material in the first place?

Mars in Gemini Square Neptune in Pisces and Willow is Plagiarized by a New Age Ascension Promoter

I'm really not sure of the alchemical energetics on this one. Willow the staunch New Age critic, having shit-kicked the ascension ideology more times than she can count, has her solstice article plagiarized by "Tyberonn the Earth Keeper" in a New Age newsletter sent out to his mailing list. It's quite the Mars in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces scenario (exact 1:45 a.m. tomorrow morning).

I have to say, my words folded into standard New Age ascension ideology really doesn't seem like a wise admixture to me.

Certain sentences were changed to New Age-ify it, but it comes straight from this April 22, 2011 post:

A Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice and Triple Eclipse Season: Here We Go Again

The link to my last triple eclipse article from 2009 is even still included in the body of the post.

I orginally found it posted on the website Ascension for All. I e-mailed the woman who runs the site to tell her, and she replied that she got the information from a newsletter sent out from Tyberonn.

This is what was posted under Tyberonn's name:

Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice

"Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice in Triad Eclipse Season Summer 2011

ASTRO-VIEW

Another Grand Cross is coming, and it’s happening in the overlapping wash of 3 eclipses and a mega Solstice. And wash is the key word. Let it wash you clean! Fact is the planet is headed into very similar astro conditions as the intense summer of 2010 with a Cardinal Grand Cross forming by the June 21, 2011 Summer Solstice and the
entry of the Sun into Cancer…but this time the Astro-Gods aren’t fooling around…they
really means business! 3 Eclipses, a Solstice and Grand Cross…sheesh !… So get
ready to have your world rocked !

That same energy while intense, does require you to stay positive and focused, and
fight off the heavy-duty, industrial strength waves of lethargy. But stay on point,
this energy can also be utilized for great gains. Yes, so it will be hard, but
so has the last 2 years , and that which doesn’t defeat you can make you stronger!
Really !! Get ready to release and clean house.

** Gemini New Moon: June 1, 2011 at 4:03 p.m. CDT solar eclipse at 11 degrees

** Sagittarius Full Moon: June 15, 2011 at 3:14 p.m., total lunar eclipse24 degrees

** Cancer New Moon: July 1, 2011 at 3:54 a.m., partial solar eclipse at 9 degrees

In addition to the 3 eclipses and solstice, Mercury will enter Cancer June 16 and
kick off a two-month Cardinal Grand Cross. There are two oppositions forming four
squares among the cardinal signs. It is kept strong as Mercury, the Sun, Venus and
then Mars in Cancer trigger the Cardinal Grand Cross configuration into late August
opposite Pluto in Capricorn with Uranus in Aries opposite Saturn in Libra. Saturn
in Libra stations direct June 12 at 10 degrees. So yes, you are in another crucible,
purifying, boiling away what blocks you. That’s not easy. In the cardinal signs,
these aspects are forcing us to make our moves under tense and pressure-filled
conditions.

Let’s be clear: we’re taking the directions that are being gravitationally motivated,
almost force fed.Its coming on like a freight train, a locomotive.

So you may even find relationships that you thought on one level were fine, actually
pause or end, sort of or a stepping away period, even from friends and loved one
takes place. There is a reason for it, even if you can’t initially see it. A space
is given that can lead to a new birth of who you are. So these relationship ‘break-ups’are sometimes ‘no-fault’ endeavors. In this crucible scenario, it is simply a time to move inward and evolve without carrying any baggage with you. Often when we step into newly opened space, an emergence of redefined leadership can position itself for all involved. Even with initial levels of confusion and duress. So suffice it to say that this 2011 summer season , things are even more astro-intense than last year.

In 2011 there is even less room for error or for denial. Last summer, the 2010 Grand-Cross configuration was actually a cardinal t-square with the fourth leg of Saturn in
late Virgo making it an energetic Grand Cross. It was a Grand Cross by orb (degree),
but it was not truly a Cardinal Grand Cross because Saturn was in a mutable sign.

This summer, Saturn’s in Libra, and so the 2011 Cardinal Grand-Cross is the full-on
real deal. So the GC of 2010 was the dress rehearsal! So get ready, get your ducks
in a row, and make 2011 work for you ! … Because in addition, Uranus will be
highly potent, pulling into a retrograde station July 9 at 4 degrees Aries. As it
stations, Uranus will be within a degree of its first exact square to Pluto in Capricorn at 5 degrees Capricorn within the Cardinal Grand Cross formation. This is some lightning-hot intensity ahead of the first exact Uranus-Pluto square June 23, 2012.

If people were able to resist or deny the grand-scale movements and global upheaval
initiated (and forced) during the cardinal t-square summer of 2010, that will change
this summer, the Cardinal Grand Cross summer of 2011, there is no hiding under the
rug. So if there is a hidden obstruction, an ego balance or a bad-habit skeleton
hidden away in the emotional closet, expect it to face you front and center.

Use the Solstice

Use the Solstice of June 21 to recharge, its a brief refuge, but also an empowerring
one. It will allow you the needed energy to use the eclipses for examining and self
redefinaition, release and re-balance.

But avoid getting overwhelmed, in this intensity there is always a flip side…
try not to get depressed or fall into anger outburst. Manage this and you will find
you can utilize this energy for the positive. Its a great amplified energy to manifest within. Take time to meditate.

Sagittarius North Node

But despite the intensity, good things can happen. With the North Node transiting
Sagittarius, there will be renewed optimism and expansion in our lives between the
chaos and intensity. It’s when we’re pushed to our breaking points and beyond that
the power of our inherent wisdom, and strength gains and proves its real mettle.

The versions of truth being portrayed on this planet – even the supposed alternative
versions – are not even close to the real story. More of the true picture begins
emerging in 2011. This is both in the individual and mass global realms. Truth
is being revealed as the shadow is replaced by the light.

As Jupiter enters Taurus June 4 and becomes the depositor of the North Node, we
draw on the wisdom of simplicity, goodness in basics, groundedness, reserve, and
one of the most important aspects of humanity’s continuation on Planet Earth -
endurance. Like the bull, we persevere. We dig in.

Triple Eclipse Season

The Cardinal Grand Cross at the northern hemisphere’s Summer Solstice this June
is sandwiched in a triple eclipse season, which includes a total lunar eclipse at
24 degrees Sagittarius conjunct the North Node.

We’re not going to be able to hold standard positions in the same old fort this
summer. Everything is on the move. The cardinal points are triggered all at once,
and there’s no avoiding it, no hiding, it will confront you wherever you are. There
is no possibility of damming ourselves up against the force of what needs to move.
Things are not as they were, and we come to understand more fully what that means
in this energy. And that message varies with each individual. But change will happen.

Eclipses usually produce a between-spaces, unglued energy, resulting in big emotional
back-drop changes and sometimes involving shattering events. The timing of global
socio-political events is often tied to these points….but so is individual shift.
Big shift. Eclipses happen every six or so months and are basically New and Full
Moons that involve a more exact alignment than usual of the Sun, Earth and Moon
and are considered more potent than standard New and Full Moons because of it. There
are usually two – a Full Moon eclipse and a New Moon eclipse – though three is not
all that rare….but these are always much more powerful in threes.

Two New Moons in Cancer and 3-Eclipse Season, All Wrapped Up in Pluto [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=fmz86ncab&et=1106105004954&s=0&e=001GcQyVDdKbUpyfLhOQBSc_kUJWE4kyQYB7l99FjD-0H-d9PPuKnKAFkZTilKc18a3x6gfSfbsvvMVIICtQaILuNt4UNinyGmy9uXh2pSRDW-vZ8clJy7HPgt3-7Accc41gitsv8mDKnaj5aLERf_EqJqhMm_3CYwd4lq-Q3c1lvi54V_X-Vuj6g==]

This summer we have three eclipses (Gemini New Moon, Sagittarius Full Moon, Cancer
New Moon) in combination with the two-month Cardinal Grand Cross, shaking our foundations and spurring movement that much more. Its a time to self examine, be ready for surprises, redefine relationships , and manifest highest intent.

This period extends through July, but the Triad-Solstice Crucible reachers is finale
on the last of the Triple Eclipses on 1 July, 2011. The Cardinal Grand Cross Energies
extend further, into mid August. Time to clean house ! 2012 is almost here…

Sorry, Tyberonn. Plagiarism wasn't cool in Grade 11 English, and it sure isn't cool now - especially when you're using the work of a person who opposes your schtick to the core.

Jupiter in Taurus and the Value of Real Astrological Knowledge

The people in the city I've moved to are cheap. Exceptionally cheap. Exasperatingly cheap. This is not something they would take as an insult, either. It's actually an odd point of pride.

It's a prairie city, but that doesn't explain it completely. I've lived in a few prairie cities, and this one takes the cake. It's a fairly provincial city - meaning, it has some very set, old school attitudes. Most people are born and raised here. Not a lot of "outsiders" come through, and there is not a lot of exposure to what's going on in the rest of the world. It's a petri dish culture, so what grows and develops here is distinctly of this city. That has its pluses and minuses, to be sure.

There's a deeply-rooted socio-political alternative culture, which I like. (There are also a tonne of freemasons here - who have teamed up with the New Age - which I don't dig so much, but that's another story...)

I'm a minimalist, so I understand non-consumerism. But this is not non-consumerism. People still want stuff. They just want it for less than the stated price. They want something for nothing, basically.

The chiselling down has been developed into a fine art here, and I find it difficult to deal with when interacting with people face-to-face. It's very slippery.

To be clear, this is coming from people who are actually quite comfortable financially. In addition to rampant poverty, there is a lot of money here. A lot of it is old money, though, so they keep it on the down low. There are a number of high-end boutiques that do very well in this city, and you'd better believe people are not haggling over price there. The pubs and restaurants are doing fine. Bands are playing to packed houses. The malls are humming. People can always find the money when they really want something, and this is why I do not give discounts.

One of the biggest problems is that people here do not seem aware of the value of astrological information from a professional astrologer. This happens, in part, because there are a lot of astrology hobbyists out there, and they're often willing to practise on people for free or for cheap. I'm not a hobbyist, though. And when people here in El Cheapoville ask me what my rates are, I can feel their minds being boggled.

One woman in her senior years was absolutely baffled by my price for a 15-minute reading. "But...but, fifteen minutes is a very small amount of time!" What I'd like to explain in this post is the process that goes into a professional astrology reading - at least, from me - in hopes that it will help explain the value of the readings.

For the people who are boggled by the prices, I would like them to be aware of these points:

1. The process of doing an astrology reading requires a very concentrated and focused energy. It's energy-intensive work, and it deals with multiple layers. Readings require psychic energy, keen emotional intuition, analytical skills, strong navigation, and the use of my special mix of astrological techniques - and this energy expenditure needs to be compensated accordingly.

2. I don't do cold readings. What this means is I don't set up a half-hour reading, print off the chart and then interact with the chart only for that scheduled 30 minutes. For me, that actually wouldn't produce the most effective reading. The information presented in a reading isn't pulled out of thin air. There's a whole process involved of studying charts, finding the pertinent information to be integrated, and then coming up with a coherent presentation of that information. To prepare for a reading, I put in between half an hour and 1.5 hours of intensive prep work. I may look at one chart; I may look at four. It all depends what the person is asking and where I need to go to find the information. I consult the ephemerides. I make notes. And then I let things percolate. By the time it's all consolidated into the reading, it is hopefully effective and to-the-point.

3. The full value of a reading may not be apparent immediately after, but the information from an astrology reading will stay with you and assist you for months or years after the reading. Good astrological information and perspective can help you make stronger, more well-informed decisions, keeping you out of situations that are not in your best interests and saving you time, energy, heartache and money. A single point in an astrology reading can explain and validate huge parts of your life experience, providing self-awareness that can literally change your life's course for the better. It's potent stuff.

4. I'm a self-taught astrologer with my own style which means that, though I've been influenced by other astrologers (we all have), I have developed my own system of astrology that you cannot get anywhere else.

5. Astrology is not a hobby for me. This is how I make my living, along with other supplemental work, and it's how I expect I will be making my living for a while to come. So I don't do astrology readings for fun. This is work. Consider it along the lines of metaphysical dentistry. Another situation I'm running into that I'm surprised is still so ingrained here is the idea that if what you do has a "spiritual" aspect to it (what doesn't, really?), it's wrong to charge money for it. This actually makes no sense to me. Everyone is entitled to live life as he/she sees fit, but I truly resent people putting their stuff on me regarding this subject. To me, work is work. Work requires energy, and it requires a reciprocal energy exchange in the form of money if one is to survive in this society. People saying this stuff are generally financially supported in other ways, often doing "spiritual" work on the side, and can afford to take that type of stance. That's not my scenario.

6. Hey, I'm Willow. I'm a cool chick, and I know my stuff. I ask for what I think a session with me is worth. If you don't agree, you can seek out a cheaper alternative.

Anyway, I realize most people who read this blog already understand this stuff. I just wanted to put this out there because of the friction I'm coming up against in this new city. For the quality of the reading a person receives from me, my rates are very reasonable, and I'd like to reinforce that point.

Mercury Enters Cancer and Triggers the First Wave of the Cardinal Grand Cross

Mercury enters Cancer at 2:09 p.m. Central June 16, officially kicking off the two-month Cardinal Grand Cross. This is the configuration of two oppositions/four squares in the cardinal signs - Uranus in Aries opposite Saturn in Libra and Pluto in Capricorn opposite Mercury, the Sun, the Moon, Venus and Mars in Cancer - in effect June 16 to August 29, 2011.

I've written a few posts on the subject to establish the astro flavour and structural bones:

April 22, 2011: A Cardinal Grand Cross Summer Solstice and Triple Eclipse Season: Here We Go Again May 8, 2011: Canada Day Cardinal Grand Cross Eclipse: Well, Golly Gee Whiz. Look Who's Fuelling the Global Nuclear Industry May 24, 2011: Neptune Stations in Pisces and We Head to the Gemini New Moon Entryway Into the Cardinal Grand Cross/Triple Eclipse Summer of 2011

Mercury in Cancer will form an unstable, angsty, angry square to Uranus in Aries June 18, marking the first official aspect of the configuration. Words are uranium and then plutonium-laced. Verbal battles cut to the core and get to the meltdown point very quickly this week, so take a breather, get some space and do your own thing (ie. just say screw it) to stay on an emotional even keel whenever possible. Keep in mind the pressures people are under - and most don't even have astrology to help them through it. Allow room for their emotional states while not sacrificing your own.

From the Uranus square, Mercury moves into opposition with Pluto in Capricorn June 19. Still boiling from the contact to Uranus in Aries, this opposition creates a potentially volatile and highly polarizing effect. Lines in the sand have most certainly been drawn at this point, and the tension simmers, simmers beneath the surface. This has a big theme of: those who are in ignorance/denial of Plutonic realities on this planet versus those who aren't. The distance between the two looks huge, but in an instant, this configuration can shift things.

Mercury moves to the final aspect of the configuration - a square to Saturn in Libra - June 21 on the solstice. On the heels of so much constrained yet volatile energy building and with so much seething beneath it all, this has a highly constricting effect. We really need an outlet here to blow off some of this Grand Cross steam, but Saturn in Libra keeps us fully within our social restraints and responsibilities, forcing us to be mature and to keep our cool under sometimes immense pressure.

Hey, this is our Cardinal Grand Cross to bear, and it's just getting started.

People are pretty regularly going to be hitting the "Go ahead, punk. Make my day" point, in direct proportion to how much b.s. they've been swallowing. Do NOT fuck with anyone and don't leave yourself open to be fucked with. Keep to yourself as much as possible, and let as much slide as you humanly can. People are pissed, but they will be containing it (as they've been trained to), and when the repression hits the point of no return (especially with women), avoiding other people's detritus while not kicking up any of your own is a very smart survival tactic.

Releasing some of the pressure by talking it out with allies who truly get where you're coming from also helps immensely, as long as the pressure-relieving is reciprocal (Saturn in Libra). And it has to be someone who can deal with hearing how you REALLY feel about things and vice versa. Otherwise, things get even more incendiary.

All four of these squared off/opposed energies are going to need our attention, and it's going to take all our focus and resolve to keep the tension at the right settings. Yes, there will be tension. It's guaranteed. But it's a matter of balancing it all against itself so that no one energy runs away with us.

What Mercury is doing this week forms the pattern the other personal planets - the Sun, Moon, Venus and Mars - in Cancer will follow over the next two months, creating successive waves from the sign of the crab until near the end of August. This is global as well as personal. Things are shifting on all fronts under tense, pressure-filled circumstances, and if you're feeling a bit on edge - four cardinal squares mixed with three eclipses will certainly do that to a person.

The good news is: things are moving, finally, because they have to. The Moon enters Capricorn just after midnight tonight (Central time) and squares Uranus, conjuncts Pluto and squares Saturn throughout the day tomorrow. The emotional undertone is officially set to "Cardinal Grand Cross."

The Law of Attraction Fukushima-Style

The permeation of The Secret-style bullshit never ceases to amaze me, but we now have it coming from Dr. Shunichi Yamashita, head of a Fukushima health study being conducted to appease concerned Japanese citizens. Yamashita chastises citizens who are taking readings, finding high levels of radioactivity and then demanding answers from government officials, telling people that happy, happy good thoughts are the only things necessary to keep them safe from radiation poisoning.

"The effects of radiation do not come to people that are happy and laughing. They come to people that are weak-spirited, that brood and fret," Yamashita says.

So don't worry, true believers. As per usual, you are immune to any and all problems of the human condition as long as you repeat your New Age idioms religiously and look the other way like good little enlightened ones. You're way too far up the spiritual hierarchy Ladder to Ascension to suffer any of the indignities being brought down on the unenlightened/denser/lower-vibrating on this planet.

Don't worry about those "weak-spirited, brooding, fretting" people you see all around you. They'll stop being such downers soon, as their negative thought patterns create cancer and other radiation-related diseases. Can't say you didn't warn them!

It's amazing to see how this crap is rolled out like clockwork. Every time a purposefully orchestrated disaster is brought down, there it is. Like everything New Age, it's old snake oil, but there is always a new crop of self-important true believers willing to lap it up in times of crisis.

After the American Civil War (also orchestrated), the working poor were languishing in absolutely hideous conditions, working back-breaking jobs 12 to 16 hours a day for not enough money even to feed and clothe themselves and their families.

As Howard Zinn tells it in A People's History of the United States, Yale graduate (ie. certainly not of the working class) minister and best-selling author Russell Conwell (could you even make up a better name?) made the rounds giving a lecture called "Acres of Diamonds." It was all about how everyone could become rich if they tried hard enough - that there were fields of diamonds just waiting for anyone willing to work hard to obtain them and if you were not rich, it was some deficiency in character or work ethic, not, oh, I don't know, a system of economic slavery set up and reinforced by those with power, wealth and resources.

From Conwell's speech:

"I say that you ought to get rich, and it is your duty to get rich...The men who get rich may be the most honest men you find in the community. Let me say here clearly...ninety-eight out of one hundred of the rich men of America are honest. That is why they are rich. That is why they are trusted with money. That is why they carry on great enterprises and find plenty of people to work with them. It is because they are honest men...I sympathize with the poor, but the number of poor who are to be sympathized with is very small. To sympathize with a man whom God has punished for his sins...is to do wrong...Let us remember there is not a poor person in the United States who was not made poor by his own shortcomings."

So this is coming out of the late 1800s when Blavatsky and the New Age doctrine were first getting their legs. You can see the parallels in ideology.

Reads like parody in this Pluto in Capricorn Age, doesn't it?

Full Moon Eclipse in Sagittarius Conjunct the North Node: Farmers, Food, Money, Health, and Eclipse-Triggered Agendas

Flooding of farmland near Estevan, Saskatchewan.

- Photos used with permission. -

Only one-third of farm land has been seeded in southeastern Saskatchewan this spring, and those looking for a pay-off in agriculture derivatives are licking their chops.

The Full Moon total lunar eclipse at 24 degrees Sagittarius June 15 happens conjunct the North Node at 23 degrees. This Full Moon eclipse happens in tropical Sagittarius, which is sidereal Ophiuchus, the serpent-bearer, and we all remember that dude from earlier this year.

An interesting aspect of this male symbol associated with healing bearing "the serpent" is that, according to astrologer and mythologist Demetra George, the dark feminine and women embodying that energy were traditionally represented by snakes. As the healing abilities, power, knowledge and sexuality of women and this "dark feminine" began to be feared by increasingly patriarchal societies, snakes and serpents became considered things of evil that needed to be banished and controlled.

Here we have a masculine symbol, Ophiuchus, representing a male healer who is holding a staff entwined with a snake, literally holding and harnessing that energy. It's under his control, at his disposal.

From January 16, 2011: Jupiter at Tail-End Pisces, the Deluge Myths and the Implanting of the Serpent

We can look at events from previous eclipses along the same polarity or near the same degrees to see what agendas are being advanced using their energy. You may recall that the last eclipse along the Gemini/Sagittarius polarity was a very potent 29th degree Gemini Full Moon total lunar eclipse on Winter Solstice, 2010. Within the span of one week last December, legislation was passed in both Canada (Bill C-36) and the United States (Bill S.510) attacking non-industrialized food and health products.

From December 21, 2010: Lock-step Legislation: Bill S.510 in the United States and Bill C-36 in Canada Are Snuck Through Senate

In fact, a special meeting on a Sunday night was convened in the United States Senate to pass Bill S.510 to coincide with the unfolding of the anaretic Gemini Full Moon eclipse. In Canada, similar legislation cracking down on natural health (and legislating the right to raid natural health businesses and practitioners at gunpoint, seizing their records, property and vehicles) was passed as Mercury Rx, Mars and Pluto all came together at 4 degrees Capricorn on December 13, 2010. This was the same degree of Capricorn as the hugely potent June 1, 2010 Capricorn Full Moon partial lunar eclipse exactly conjunct Pluto.

That energy and those Plutonic eclipse trigger points were used to make big progress, legislating the agenda of corporatized health care and agriculture. Less than a month after these events, the huge story being blown up in the news and through social media like Facebook was the "new zodiac sign" Ophiuchus (in tropical Sagittarius) that supposedly changed everyone's signs.

From January 14, 2011: Has My Sun Sign Really Changed? Nah, the Siderealists Are Just Acting Up Again

This trumped-up story was a timely and symbolic implanting to me representing the attempted domination of masculine Big Pharma and Big Agriculture over natural food and health kept in the hands of the people, and especially in the hands of women.

Now we have the Full Moon eclipse in Sagittarius/sidereal Ophiuchus just in time for the growing season in the northern hemisphere - such as it is - and we see control of the food supply and fertility of the Earth (Ceres domain) through weather modification and widespread flooding. Their deluge myths coming true. Natural health products are under attack with many being squeezed off the market at a time when people need them most in order to withstand multi-layered attacks on our physical systems.

The Sagittarius Full Moon eclipse is disposited by Jupiter newly in Taurus (June 4, 2011 - June 11, 2012) and also has a theme relating to cultural belief systems around money and value, with big shifts and changes expected in foreign/global currencies as we head into the two-month Cardinal Grand Cross.

At the time of the Full Moon/eclipse, the Sun and Mercury will be conjunct the South Node in late Gemini along with Venus (money) in the early part of the sign. Big cracks start to form in the mass psychology around fiat currency - the money being created by privately-owned financial institutions that has no inherent value other than the value assigned to it, which is then propped up by the mass psychological acceptance of its value.

Chiron Conjunct Neptune Retrograde in Pisces. All I Can Say is: Ow.

That's not a lake. That's flooded farmland in southeastern Saskatchewan. Only one-third of the land could be seeded this spring, and you'd better believe this water (Neptune) is causing pain (Chiron) for farmers and everyone and everything who rely on them. - Photo used with permission. -

Chiron just went retrograde at 5 degrees Pisces (June 8), and this is on the heels of Neptune going retro at 0 degrees Pisces (June 3). These two bodies are conjunct, moving very slowly retrograde, and the themes are dragging at us. There's a whole lot of concentrated pain being stirred right now.

Since late May, the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini have squared Neptune and then Chiron in Pisces. Talking (Gemini) about things that are as huge and as Piscean and as difficult to pin down as, say, a slow-motion devastation of the food supply, lives and bodies brought about through HAARP technology and poisonous aerosol spraying, is not easy. But it's in talking about it that we can move out of one of the most difficult aspects of Neptune: being isolated in pain.

Though it's hard to remember when Neptune and Chiron are breathing down our necks, these are issues that affect most of us. Personal effects have ties to broader forces underway, and, while the particulars may differ, no one is alone in dealing with Piscean pain and loss, whether physical, emotional or psychic.

Chronic pain and illness are also Piscean/Neptunian subjects - isolating, but widely shared, as our systems work to process and adjust to multi-layered poisons, forced, unnatural rhythms and electromagnetic overload.

The situation on the planet coupled with difficult circumstances in personal lives can move us quite easily into "overwhelm" territory right now, unless we continually work to dissipate the Neptunian fuzz and fog, keeping it in proportion when it threatens to pull us under. Part of that is staying connected (Gemini) to the loving and guiding force in your own life and to the people, animals and places that help you feel loved, connected, part of a meaningful whole.

We're getting through this together, come hell or high water - and by the looks of it, both. This is a tough point, though, to be sure - soggy, damp, mildewed, like wearing a set of sopping wet clothes through an already difficult day. Don't feel alone if you are struggling with feelings of disappointment, disillusionment, fatigue, hopelessness, isolation or despair. This is the flip side of Neptune (conjunct wounded healer Chiron), and it's one tricky bastard.

We're not dealing with issues that have easy or quick solutions. There may not be any immediate solutions apparent at all. Holding the awareness of what is going on is sometimes all we can do.

Every time I see a blue sky, it's certain that within a couple hours, there will be either chemtrails sprayed or chemtrail drift coming in from a previous spraying. Whatever they're putting in them these days is making me quite sick. And yet, I know if I talked about it to most of the people I come into contact with, they would think I was nuts. At the very least, they'd be uncomfortable.

Nature has always been one of the only things that helps me, and now the air has been poisoned so that I have to stay indoors most sunny days unless I want to risk respiratory problems, a raw throat and airway and a runny nose. And who knows what goes on under cloud cover?

I didn't know if I should write about my experience getting sick from the trails on the blog (I never really know what personal details to include here and which ones to omit), but when I wrote about it, I got a message from a friend and blog reader in California who said she had almost the exact same experience. Then I got more messages from people in widespread areas who had similar experiences.

We're not crazy (Neptune), you know? This is going on, and making the connections really helps.

- Photo sent by reader. -

Making the connections (the right ones) isn't easy right now, though. We're being hit with a few difficult aspects in succession. Zero Gemini - the point the personal planets have activated and continue to activate in square to Neptune - is now home to the fixed stars Pleiades (which recently shifted from 29 Taurus), and this is considered an unfortunate grouping.

The Gemini-Pisces square can bring chaotic communication issues, especially electronics and computers going haywire. I'm posting this from an internet cafe as my own computer is being squirrelly as all hell. This can probably be expected off and on until late June when Mars passes out of the squares to Neptune and Chiron.

Under the square aspects, a lot of information sources and connections (especially media- and social media-related) aren't actually helping, so filtering is necessary. We're looking more to the quiet ambiance between spaces for our guiding, navigational faith than to continual chitter chatter, but it's highly difficult to cut the communication cords we need to distance ourselves from with the constant connection-craving Gemini South Node.

What is still working on the Geminian front are the connections that help us to feel loved and connected - anything that dissipates the gnawing isolation that can come with not only a Neptune-Chiron conjunction in Pisces but multiple connections to Sedna, betrayed Goddess of the Sea.

Mars is currently just past a conjunction to Sedna and we're getting some quite desolate transmissions from the bottom of the ocean. Mars then moves into Gemini (moving through that conjunction to the Pleiades) and squares Neptune at zero Pisces June 22.

Jupiter has just entered Taurus, which has thrown an unflattering spotlight on all my painful Chiron in Taurus issues, resulting in a lower back that has almost completely gone out.

All this, and we have the two-month Cardinal Grand Cross in effect starting June 16 when Mercury enters Cancer.

This summer is going to be quite the ride. Get ready, get as fluid as possible, and stay connected to those you love.

Saturn Stationing Direct in Libra Says: Time to Get Very Serious About Who You Have in Your Life

Saturn is currently stationing direct at 10 degrees Libra (June 12), and we're back to the degree it was on in late October, 2010 during the Venus retrograde in Scorpio. Situations, especially relationship situations, we were dealing with last fall come back up for resolution now.

With five months of retrograde perspective under our belts, we are hopefully working with a more mature, grounded, and realistic outlook, including bottom line requirements for the people in our lives. Any relationship situations that were not fully resolved during the last Venus retrograde (and with Via Combusta Libra/Scorpio involved, you just know there are unresolved situations) will be back on our plates now.

Commitments in personal relationship and business partnership that could not be made during the retrograde period will require decisions one way or the other by this fall, with an especially potent time frame for concrete progress between September 17 and November 3, 2011.

A no-nonsense state of natural justice and equilibrium will slowly unfold as Saturn, in its exaltation in Libra, turns its energy outward.

Carrying on the Venus retrograde in Scorpio themes (which remain an overlay), this especially has to do with underlying energetic justice, soul-level integrity, honesty, compatibility in relationship (or lack thereof), sexual dynamics, and power issues and imbalances between men and women and the masculine and feminine.

If there are situations where you ended up feeling wronged and/or burned last fall, things can start to be fully resolved and put behind us now. At the same time, we're about to get down to business, working on the relationships that have proven themselves worthwhile in our lives.

Looking back, there were two situations going on with me last fall.

One involved an unfortunate entanglement with a dude who went gaga over my New Age critiques, started collaborating with me, and then turned out to be closet New Age himself. Guh.

After communicating for a couple months, he made plans to come to Canada to meet me that summer (on a personal level) but then unceremoniously yanked the rug out over Facebook - coincidentally, after I let him know I wouldn't be jumping straight into bed with him.

He then immediately aligned himself with a female New Age "lightworker," publicly saying the same things about her and her work that he had said about me just days prior.

It's hard to explain that situation to people who don't experience a lot of Pluto/Scorpio, but suffice it to say that his unexpected flooding of the etheric pathway still open between us with New Age energy was highly poisonous and took a great deal of time and energy on my part to put right. As I was still in the heaviest period of Cipro recovery, it wasn't really energy I could afford to expend.

A fairly brutal energetic extrication process followed - both personal and professional - which spawned a half-assed, glossed-over, blogged apology on his part made more out of fear than anything. He turned me into a fire-breathing She Devil-type when I wouldn't let him weasel out of ending the connection responsibly. (I think he even thought I might have sent an earthquake his way.)

Juno in Virgo and a Further Rooting Out of NewAgeSpeak

A friend posted this Facebook status a few days ago as transiting Juno in Virgo squared my natal Neptune and stationing Neptune in Pisces squared my natal Moon:

-- "connect" and "interconnect" mean the same thing. (however, using "interconnect" makes you sound "dumber.") --

She's a writer (Virgo) and a definite Juno soul mate because this is one that completely bypassed my radar screen. It's true, of course, and I have to thank her for drawing it to my attention. The day after she posted that status, I went through the blog and rooted out the instances of this word, changing it to "energetic connection." (That may also sound soft, but it's what I came up with.) I thought it might be too overwhelming a task to take on, but there actually weren't a huge number of uses.

Some people might find this excessive, but this type of effort is both necessary and worth it when you're an astrologer who is working to extricate her astrological language from any and all New Age tentacles. I'm not playing around. I oppose New Age ideology and its effects on people to the bone, and I really do want the astrology I practise to be clear of unintentional influences.

It's important to me as an astrologer, and it's important for astrology, period, I think.

From a previous post:

"New Age was originally set up with a language of its own - certain key words and phrases that could be spoken, like a secret handshake, so that members could identify each other on the down low. So make no mistake: to this day, the New Age language and terminology are very important in the recognition of others of this paradigm, in the spread of these memes and in the drawing of fresh blood into this pseudo-spiritual pyramid scheme.

The New Age language and voice has an energy all its own, and once you can identify it, there's no mistaking it, despite the ever-more subtle applications. The implanting of certain idioms, catch phrases and concepts has always been a major part of the spread of New Age. This is an implanting of manipulated energy. They call it "raising consciousness." I call it energy-stealing lobotomization.

The diluting of the power of language is a major part of the control mechanism. Specific words voicing specific aspects of our authentic experience as human beings on this planet are what is needed to catalyze the changes and shifts we need to see. And the watered down, cliched NewAgeSpeak is very effective in keeping people from the real potency points, especially related to the more difficult aspects of human experience."

I've made the same disclaimer on this blog before: because so much of the astrology of the day has been merged with New Age beliefs (quite insidiously in some cases), it has been a process to completely extricate my own astrological language from that ideology. The astrology that makes it into popular books is often the merged variety. The New Age has money and connections. Publishing and the promotion of books and authors generally require money and connections. Combine that with the overlay of pumped-up, overzealous Neptunian glamour energy, and you've got some definite saturation of the publishing market.

I was, of course, not aware of this New Age saturation when I first started accessing astrology through current books and websites, so I've had to re-learn astrology and bust out of those constructs as I found my own astrological voice and momentum.

In a lot of the astrology of the day, "interconnection" is a key word associated with Pisces. Again, because of the widespread merging of astrological language with New Age, it's easy for some of the key words to make their way in. No surprise, I especially find this to be the case when writing about the sign Pisces.

So I do my best to remove New Age language with the Virgoan fine-toothed comb.
